Now that it's warmed up a bit, the cats don't mind going outside so much.

Saturday was Kyle's 21st birthday. Conveniently, the Alaska Beer and Barley Wine Festival took place on Saturday. He went with a friend and the friend's girlfriend. Why didn't I go? Because you had to be 21 to get in. No exceptions. Also, I don't like beer so I wouldn't have paid $30 to go sample a bunch of beers anyway.
After the festival, they met up with some people in their squadron at Moose's Tooth, a local pizza place. (Their DD was Michael, who is only 19.)
Did he indulge? Yes. Did he overindulge? No. He indulged to the point where, when he got home at 12:30, I heard him yelling to Michael (who was in the same room as him), "I'M-I'M JUST GONNA GO UPSTAIRS FOR A MINUTE BECAUSE SHE'S UPSTAIRS AND I JUST WANT TO SEE IF SHE'S ASLEEP AND TELL HER WE'RE HOME."
He then stumbled up the stairs, hiccupping, to let me know they were home and to show me the birthday hat he got from another guy who was also celebrating his 21st birthday. He had a good time.

After watching the videos I now agree that there is not much to do in Alaska. Looks like fun. Andy wants to know why he didn't build it high enough to go over the porch railing??
