I've been told by a few people that the little tree in our front yard isn't really a Charlie Brown tree. Ok, ok, that's true. Our real Christmas tree, however, is Charlie Brown-ish.
It's 7.5 feet tall and 3 feet wide. When you look at it, you can see straight through it. I'm willing to bet that I could stick my arm right through the tree. We messed around with the branches but Kyle kept complaining that he needed gloves because it was hurting his hands (he is SO DRAMATIC) and I was hungry. So he stopped and I made dinner. He said we need more ornaments but then said we don't...because we don't. There are enough ornaments but you can only really see the pretty red ones. I have another set of red ones to put up but I forgot to get hooks for them. Out of all the ornaments I bought, those were the only ones that didn't come with strings to hang them with. We also put up the 2008 ornament from Aunt Connie (thank you!) and the little Russian ones from Nana & Poppop, those are so cute! Hopefully the sun will come out again tomorrow and I can get better pictures. Believe it or not, I took 5 or 6 and this was the best one.

I don't think it looks all that sad. I think it looks special, and in need of some background decorations? I bet it will look much better with a wrapped package underneath :)
